I’m a remote-control student in the DigIn program, 2/6 done. Life is always weedy. I still hope I can hack it.
I have a library degree (MSLIS) with an archives focus from Simmons College ’00 and an A.B. in English from the University of California, Davis ’79. I work at the Houghton Library at Harvard University where I accession manuscripts and archival collections, create finding aids encoded in EAD, and act as IT liaison from our staff of about 40 to the next IT layer up.
I also garden and make mosaics. I’m concerned with animal welfare and have worked with United Animal Nations as an EARS volunteer sheltering puppy mill rescuees in Montreal.
I’ve always been interested in technology and have been fortunate to live with people from whom I could get some of it through osmosis. I look forward to pushing my envelope beyond expectations.
